Lima Memorial Hospital is a member of Lima Memorial Health System, a partnership with Pro-Medica Healh Systems. This collaborative effort positions Lima Memorial Health System in its progressive growth to be the premier health care provider in West Central Ohio. They would cover call at one of the following hospitals: Fairview Ridges, Fairview Southdale, North Memorial, Mercy and Unity and Abbott Northwestern.
The hospitalists neurologist work approximately 8am-6pm Monday through Friday and rotate weekends (1 in 8) and weekday evenings with full-time nurse clinician support. The hospitalists must be competent in acute stroke management, status epilepticus and other subacute neuro conditions. They would work in conjunction with internal medicine hospitalists, neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists. In time, the group anticipates developing a city-wide hospitalist service.
